style=\"--awb-font-size:16px;--awb-text-font-family:&quot;Poppins&quot;;--awb-text-font-style:normal;--awb-text-font-weight:400;\"><p><strong>GFM has supplied a back-up system for the Center d'Etudes et de Recherches sur les Energies Renouvelables (CERER)<\/strong> dependent on the University of Dakar in Senegal. The objective is to build an alternative system to ensure supply in locations with a high frequency of electrical cuts and blackouts. In addition, the students will use the installation as a test bed, for this reason, GFM technicians have taken advantage of the installation to train the center's staff, trying to ensure that the system can be used as a teaching resource in the future.<\/p>\n<p>The proposed system is made up of an AC-DC coupling, composed of a 3kVA grid inverter that will serve the loads in self-consumption mode. The surpluses will be stored in lithium batteries thanks to a 3kW inverter-charger. As a complement to the system, charge regulators are included to store current in batteries directly from the modules.
