ARMIC

Research and analysis of long-duration energy storage for operational resilience in critical military infrastructures.

The objective of this project is the development of a long-duration (100 hours) thermoelectric energy storage system utilizing the latent heat of silicon at its melting point of 1400ºC, with the aim of ensuring the sustainability of military infrastructure in conditions of isolation, emergency, and/or disconnection, through its integration into hybrid microgrids with renewable generation.
