GFM technology changes the lives of the population of the Matam region, northern Senegal

Part of the Generaciones Photovoltaicas de la Mancha team, including Francisco Comendador and Javier Bustos, founding partner and CEO, respectively, have traveled to the Matam Region in Senegal, to supervise the hybrid photovoltaic pumping systems, based on agrovoltaic schemes. , which he made earlier this year There they have been able to see first-hand how life has changed for the population of the towns of Kodiolel, Loumbi Ferbe and Loumbi Diallo, thanks to GFM technology with solar systems, for hybrid water pumping, a solar boutique with refrigerator and freezer and an agrovoltaic system, which allows them to grow all types of crops in these arid areas with extreme temperatures. With this contribution, we have managed to get the children to go to school, once the water problem has been solved, in addition to helping local women start businesses. This would not have been possible without the collaboration of the NGO Ongawa and the financing of the AECID (Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation).
